Terms of service
lurk is provided as-is. By installing the extension or using the web
app you agree to the conditions below. We expect this document to
evolve before public release; the binding version always lives in
docs/TERMS.md in our GitHub repository.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
Acceptable use
- Don't use lurk to harass, intimidate, or stalk other users.
- Don't try to deanonymise other users.
- Don't impersonate other users (including Anthropic, Reddit, or other recognisable entities).
- Don't use lurk to send spam, scams, or unauthorised advertising.
- Don't attempt to extract data from the server you do not own.
Moderation
We may rate-limit, mute, or disable an anonymous UUID that violates these terms. Rate limits and protections are described in the privacy policy.
Mascot
The crab mascot in this project is a fan-art tribute, not an official Anthropic mark. We may swap it for an original mascot at any time without notice.
Disclaimer
lurk is pre-alpha. Expect bugs, downtime, and changes to features. We provide the service "as is" without warranty of any kind.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced through the extension popup and on this page.
